Reykjavik University encourages its researchers to consider publishing under Open Access.
AMC Open
The library has a read-and-publish deal with ACM for unlimited publications in Open Access. The contract period is 2024 - 2026.
The only criterion is that the "corresponding author" has to have an RU email address.

SAGE
Iceland Consortia has an agreement with SAGE to allow unlimited publishing in Open Access.
Included are hybrid journals where publishing fees are included in the Consortia subscription. Eligible authors (associated with Icelandic universities) do not pay any publishing fees in hybrid journals.
Eligible authors also get a 20% discount on publishing fees for Gold Open Access.
Authors associated with Icelandic universities and have their university email are eligible to publish in journals in the SAGE "Premier 2019" journal package in the Iceland Consortia.
The agreement is for 2024-2025.
