Coursebook Library: contains one copy of all textbooks used in undergraduate programs during the current semester, in addition to selected books used in graduate programs. Instructors have the option of reserving material from the library collections, acquiring material from elsewhere and/or adding material from their private collection to the coursebook library for students in individual courses. Material from an instructor's private collection is only for use within the library. Anna Kristín Stefánsdóttir, the information specialist, supervises the coursebook library.
Please send an email to library@ru.is for purchases for the coursebook library for books that are not already available at the library. You can look up existing books on Leitir.is. The library will first look if the an ebook is available. If that is not an option we will only purchase one print copy of the book.
Electronic material on a course reading list in Canvas: Electronic learning material and supplementary material are best distributed by directly linking to it from individual courses in Canvas, whether Icelandic or foreign material. Users shall follow the rules and procedures to be certain to respect copyright law and honour agreements concluded with owners of materials by the library.
